Trench Art
Did you know, that traditionally trench art is any decorative item created by military members and/or prisoners of war during armed conflicts? It is often made using artillery shells and other items easily found on the battlefield. Most trench art was made for a sweetheart back home.
I am an avid collector of trench art and find it fascinating that people are capable of producing beautiful items amid death and destruction. Most of my items are from WWI and WWII but I have a few modern items, as well.
